Jim’s Personal Mission Statement:
To continually evolve spiritually and contribute to the spiritual transformation of world consciousness through the regular practice of universal spiritual principles and service to others.

Having grown up in traditional Christianity as a Lutheran, I’ve always felt a connection to the Divine and even considered entering the ministry in some capacity during my teen years.  After 37 years attending and supporting Lutheran churches in Miami, Tallahassee, and Sarasota, it became evident that a more spiritual path was calling to me.

My introduction to Science of Mind took place on Mothers’ Day 1994 at the Center for Positive Living (CPL) in Sarasota where Rev. Karen Wolfson delivered the message that day.  The teaching instantly resonated with me and I became an active member of CPL – taking classes such as Religious Science Quick Start and Fear to Faith, hosting Namaste Circles and Friendship Dinners, and singing in the CPL Chorus.

When Rev. Karen founded the Center for Spiritual Living Sarasota (formerly the Center for Spiritual Awakening) in 2002, I became a charter member along with my husband, Robert Day.  I served CSL Sarasota for many years in a variety of roles including the Board of Trustees as Treasurer and Vice President.

In 2014 when Theresa Fieberts (now Rev. Theresa Fieberts) offered the opportunity to take all required classes with her toward licensing as a Spiritual Practitioner, I felt Spirit’s nudge to launch that journey.  After five years, I completed the course of study with Theresa and became licensed in 2019.

I’ve experienced dramatic results using the transformational power of Spiritual Mind Treatment, also known as Affirmative Prayer.  I’m excited to serve as a Spiritual Practitioner at CSL Cultural Coast and look forward to assisting you in putting Science of Mind principles to work in your life!
